The National Zoo has been reopened after about 7 months. There were a lot of visitors on the first day. The government has reopened the Bangladesh National Zoo in the capital’s Mirpur to visitors on Sunday (November 1), subject to health regulations, after a seven-month shutdown due to corona.
Visitors have been allowed to enter according to the hygiene rules.
The National Chiriyakhana will be open from 10 am to 3 pm every day except holidays.
Although there is a risk of corona, the visitors are happy with the opening of the recreation center. The new curator of the National Zoo has assured all kinds of measures to ensure health. Md. Abdul Latif.
In addition, the government has opened the Bangabandhu Safari Park in the Sundarbans and Gazipur to tourists and visitors on five conditions.
On the occasion of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, you can enter the zoo for free on the first Sunday of the month till March next year. Many have come to the National Zoo with their families for entertainment. Although there is a risk of corona, the visitors are happy that the government has opened the entertainment center. However, they are being allowed to enter according to the hygiene rules.
After a long time, all the animals and birds, including tigers and deer, have been moved by the visitors. Again, the children are very excited to see all these animals and birds. Many people choose the zoo to entertain their children.
The Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock has given permission to the Department of Livestock to open the zoo subject to ensuring compliance with certain conditions.
