Some ways to stay safe in winter from corona

The arrival of winter in the nature of Bangladesh on the one hand and the new coronavirus infection on the other hand. The same is said of ‘a blow to the head. Temperature, humidity, and dust throughout the day increase the risk of various illnesses, most of which are viral, temporary, but uncomfortable. Children, the elderly, who are most at risk at this time, spend their days in extreme difficulty due to some cold-related health problems such as viral cold-fever, common cold-cough, tonsillitis, asthma or shortness of breath, pneumonia, arthritis or rheumatism. On the other hand, the primary target of coronavirus is the respiratory system, but once the virus enters the body, it destroys the heart, kidneys, liver, brain and circulatory system. So you have to be a little more careful this winter than other times. Along with some general health precautions, special hygiene rules should be followed during corona period.

Here are some ways to avoid corona

Don’t go out unnecessarily:

Elderly people with coronary heart disease and those with other diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart, respiratory, kidney or liver disease, stroke or other complex chronic diseases are most at risk. It is better not to let them go out unnecessarily. The rest of the family needs to be extremely vigilant about their health. In winter, the number of people visiting our country increases with the number of festivals, ceremonies such as weddings and cultural activities. In this case, follow the hygiene rules with a limited number of people. If we do at least three simple things, we can stop a terrible monster like coronavirus – one. Regular mask wear two. Regularly wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or disinfect them using a sanitizer and three. Maintain physical distance (at least 3 feet) with other people outside the house.

It is not possible to get cold:

it is very easy to get cold at this time. So you have to wear winter clothes. Waking up in the morning is more likely to catch a cold, so a hat, socks and a muffler should be used in the morning and evening. It is better to use separate shoes / sandals inside and outside the house. Room heaters can be used if necessary, but if the room heater is used for a long time, the skin becomes dry. If possible, it is best not to take children under the age of five out of the house.

Stay free from common cold-cough or common cold:

It is most prevalent during the change of seasons, especially at the beginning of winter when the temperature changes. It is often seen that the nose is closed for two or three days or water flows through the nose. Sore throat, dry cough, fever. Most of it goes viral and gets better without antibiotics. Paracetamol and antihistamines can be taken for pain. No separate treatment is required. Mix a little salt in hot water and gargle to relieve sore throat and whooping cough. Hot tea or ginger, lemon juice, hot drinks mixed with basil leaves, coffee or hot milk are quite effective. The nose should be kept well clean. Another effective way to close the nose is to open the nose by taking a deep breath with something left or under the nose that smells like this.

Avoid virus attacks:

Virus does not necessarily mean coronavirus, but naturally spreads a variety of viral diseases, including fevers, colds and coughs. The virus is spread from person to person through sneezing, coughing and contact. So regular hand washing should be practiced.
Asthma patients need extra caution: Asthma patients can use prophylactic medications as advised by their doctor before the onset of colds. As the incidence of asthma or shortness of breath increases at this time, it is better for patients not to go out in very cold weather. Children must be kept away from dust to prevent asthma. The residence should be clean and the doors and windows of the house should not be closed at all times and free and clean ventilation should be provided. If the asthma situation worsens for any reason, the patient should be taken to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.

Body aches:

Arthritis or rheumatism is more common in the winter, especially in the elderly. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, spondyloarthritis, reactive arthritis, osteo-arthritis have an increased incidence of pain due to reduced winter movement. For this you should stay warm and do light exercise at home as much as possible.

Winter skin care:

In winter, skin moisture is reduced, resulting in dry skin, cracked lips, mouth and feet. Those who have chapped lips, big or small, can use any type of lip gel or lip balm. Vaseline cream can be used on the face and lips. Do not neglect to follow the coronary hygiene rules. With a little caution, it is possible to prevent these winter problems easily at the beginning and avoid major dangers. Even if it becomes a disease, it is not a matter of concern, it can be cured with simple treatment. However, if the condition is critical, if you have too much breathing, you should be taken to the hospital immediately. You have to be careful in protecting your health.
