Vaccination program has started in the country on Sunday 06/02/2021. A total of 31,160 people were vaccinated on the first day. Of these, 5,061 people have been vaccinated in Dhaka.
Registered persons are vaccinated in 1,005 public and private hospitals from 8 am to 2.30 pm. They had to register in advance for the vaccine. Apart from this, there was an opportunity to register at the vaccination center. When vaccinating on the first day, the recipient is told the date of the second dose.
Prominent people came to the vaccination center on Sunday to get vaccinated. Registered individuals are notified by text message before being vaccinated. 3 lakh 47 thousand people have registered for vaccination till last Saturday 06/02/2021.
On January 26, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the vaccination program at Kurmitola Hospital in the virtual capital. On that day, 21 people were vaccinated against coronavirus. At a news briefing held at the Department of Health yesterday, it was said that 56 people who were vaccinated are healthy. No major side effects were observed.
