The mango king Fazli, a species of mangoes produced in Rajshahi district, has been recognised as a Geographical Indication (GI) product of Bangladesh.

The Department of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (DPDT) has registered Fazli mango as the country’s third GI product and will hand over a certificate to the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute.
